Every time you use the Internet, you are using a cyber infrastructure. By actively educating ourselves and others about cyber safety, we will lower our vulnerabilities to computer failures and potential interruptions to our personal and business infrastructures. By protecting yourself on the Internet, you also protect others.

The Cyber Safety portion of the Ready site is the result of a collaborative effort between the Public Information and Information Technology committees of the Illinois Terrorism Task Force. The committees' Cyber Initiative Workgroup involves public, private, educational and industrial subject matter experts to enhance the computer safety information on the Ready Illinois website.
